We are looking for a motivated Operations Coordinator to join our growing team at JS Global. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for clients, shipping partners, and regulatory agencies. You’ll coordinate the safe and compliant handling of cargo, including salvage, recycling, and disposal projects. This is a hands-on role where you will gain exposure to high-profile cases, complex logistics challenges, and work alongside a knowledgeable team known across the industry for delivering intelligent and cost-effective solutions.
- Proven experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or waste management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence dealing with clients and agencies.
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance, documentation, and audit trails.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
- Knowledge of UK/EU shipping regulations, Trading Standards, Border Force, or port procedures.
- Previous experience handling sensitive or high-value cargo.
- Familiarity with environmental standards, recycling processes, or carbon reduction initiatives.
- A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain, or environmental management.
- Full UK driving licence.
